I am trying to quit smoking and I was doing really well with the gum, until i started getting these terrible sores in my mouth. I still can’t open my mouth all of the way because of them. I really want to quit. I’ve been smoking for about 9 years. Any help would be great.

Use the Nicoderm CQ patch. It kind of worked for me to quit. I tried the gum and lozenges and they leave a nasty aftertaste. Or if you go to the doctors they have a pill out called CHANTIX that worked for me after the patches, I have been smoke free for about 2 years now. Even if you are on the pill, you can still smoke (it won’t make you sick or anything), but after taking it for awhile it does help.
