There isn't any way to get fresh air down into a basement & they are dank & humid. I would think it would be a bad thing for a baby without a lung condition to live in a basement, much less one with. Double check with her doctors, but I wouldn't reccommend it. It is toxic. And I wouldn't want a baby in a basement. As one reader stated above, it will be stale air. And too much from a humidifier wouldn't be good either.
