best product to help me quit smoking?
I have quit once before, cold turkey, but it didn’t last very long. Some other friends have used products to help them quit with better, long term, results. Anyone out there who can recommend a good product? I would prefer answers from people with first hand experience but everything helps!
Thanks!

I know exactly how you feel, I was in a very similar situation. I remember that I was so nervous at that time and I took it out on everyone around me. I didnt know what could I do until, thanks god, I found Smoke Deter. Now I can look back and laugh on myself and in the same time I remember how helpless I was. I hope that I'll never be in the same situation again

There are many ways to quitting, one of the best is following a method.
http://stopsmoking.eu.pn/ is a new approach on quitting without external aids, no weight-gain and minimum withdrawals.
They don’t try to sell you anything, the site is completely free. It’s like reading an e-book.
There are also other methods including patches, gums, chemical substances, cold turkey, hypnosis, electronic cigarettes, etc. Which method is better for you depends upon many factors, most people try various methods before succeeding. There is no "best" method. The only way to tell if any given method works or not for you is to try it.
The must popular (not because of it effectiveness) product is called Chantix or Champix depending if in the United States or Europe/Australia.
smokeless ciggs-(the steam kind)
my dad got the laser n needles in the ear etcccc but he liked the smoke n puff-(i do too) n these worked-im waiting for mine-i got cherry flavored
I am currently SMOKE FREE!!! What worked for me was the NICATROL INHALER. Your doctor has to prescribe it. It is a mouthpiece that you load with nicotine cartridges. This way you hold it like a cigarette, and you inhale and draw strong doses of nicotine. This worked, the gum and patch DID NOT!!!!!!
An herbal aroma nose inhaler uses ancient Chinese medicine to help cigarette smokers fight using a convenient herbal inhaler that the user can carry with them in their purse or pocket. The product is produced with the idea that a smoker can sniff the Smoker’s Herbal Aroma several times a day. The Herbal Aroma Nose Inhaler claims to help smokers kick the habit in two weeks or less. One bottle lasts one to two weeks and supposedly this is enough time for most smokers to be able to quit all together.
hi Kate R ..
there are a number of products out there.. i tried most of them and didn’t quit.. one failed attempt after another.. had to just keep quitting..
i now have over 5 years nicotine free because of membership in a support group.. i attend meetings both locally and online.. studies show that chances are greatly improved, when people use support groups, in addition to whatever method they choose.. good luck there is really no wrong way to quit!! on line voice meetings are as close as your computer..
Nicotine Anonymous is a Non-Profit 12 Step Fellowship of men and women helping each other live nicotine-free lives. Nicotine Anonymous welcomes all those seeking freedom from nicotine addiction, including those using cessation programs and nicotine withdrawal aids. The primary purpose of Nicotine Anonymous is to help all those who would like to cease using tobacco and nicotine products in any form. The Fellowship offers group support and recovery using the 12 Steps as adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous to achieve abstinence from nicotine.
I only manage to quit on the 3rd attempt using cold turkey method. I tried using patches and gum on my 2nd attempt but that didn’t work for me. Removing the dependency on nicotine is one part of quitting the other part is the habit.
Chances that you failed the last attempt is the habit of smoking that you associate with. Do you smoke when you are stress, after a meal, during projects, when drinking beer? These are the common activity people associate with smoking and these habits are build up over the years.
Every time you break that particular habit it will enhance your willpower and thus making it easier the next time the associated activity/ situation happens.
Secondly, the withdrawal caused a lot of discomfort and inconvenience during my work. This "pain" I will never forget and made me to stay away from smoking as I would want to quit and experience the "pain" again.
Purely my experience check out my blog here:

Reducing how many you smoke for awhile and then cold turkey is the only way. Just before you go cold turkey save all the butts you have around and smoke them till you can’t find anymore then cold turkey.
