Way back when i was little i spent a few days in hospital as i had a really bad asthma attack..
Can Asthma come back if you had it before? September 08 i was very ill with bronchitis, which left me a bit wheezy, then over christmas i had two different colds. Now 2months later i have a really bad Wheezy chesty cough, it’s not Flem just chesty and extremely painful when i breath in and out. It almost feels like it’s bruised.
just wondering whether it could be asthma or not?
As my cat has had all the drugs and injections and nothing is working an inhaler is the last resort.
I mean the inhalers for cats from the vets.
Just a quick question before i go to bed.
Has anyone who suffers from asthma had worse symptoms: earlier today, or after the quake?
Ive been using my inhalour more than usual tonight, and i just wondered if this is a coincidence.
My cousin just had an asthma attack but it wasn’t a real big one but because he is quite young his parents are worried that it’s going to happen again and they don’t know alot about asthma so what simple things could trigger his asthma again and what should he avoid doing?
I keep on feeling light headed, and as if my heart is racing and because of that i feel short of breath. My school nurse said i may have asthma because my brother and mum have but im 16 and have never had asthma symptoms before. I’ve had the symptoms for the last two years but there were huge gaps in between them but now i cant go 2 or 3 weeks without getting them. Any advice?

Think about the ethical considerations involved- if you target a specific group- what about other groups? If you concentrate on a specific illness – what aabout the other illnesses? What happens when the campaign is finished? Do you leave it at that? What abot surveillance -is there an element of this in the campaign? Is it actively doing good and reducing harm, or avoiding harm?
(Campaign on going)! Any help would be appreciated!
I’ve come down with a doozy of a Cold. Sneezing, sore throat, headaches, a very nasty cough! And chills.. Etc.. Can anyone recommend a cough syrup that won’t make my chest tight? Thanks.

F.A.O. the assumptive one called Sonya : I AM asthmatic, I just get it very occasionally from the odd allergy. I used to have it all the time as a child and regularly used the inhaler BEFORE I became vegan. But I don’t want to come across as rude, Sonya.
I Can’t Breathe Well, What’s Wrong? When I exercise, even just running on the treadmill, it hurts to breathe. I have to breathe very deeply and long. I feel like I have to spit every other second because I can’t breathe well. My legs nor body gets tired, just my breathing doesn’t seam right. Could I have asthma or could something else be wrong?
I am taking beclametasone (preventer), Salbutamol (reliever) and montekulast singulair (add on) for my asthma. I have started to wake up at night coughing and having to use my reliever at least once a day. I don’t have a chest infection so I’m not sure whether to go to the doctors or not? Can he do anything else to help me?
She will be 3 years old in March.
She goes to asthma clinic once a month and is on 2 different inhalers.
I wondered if anyone has any suggestions on what would be best for her?
Anti allergy pillows?
Laminate floor in her bedroom?
Is there anything special that needs to be done to make life easier for her?
After a recent trip to the doctor it was diagnosed that my 18 month old son could possibly has asthma. He was prescribed two inhalers which should be administered through a nebuliser. He is supposed to take 5-10 breaths from the nebuliser for each one, however he gets really upset when he sees it or when we try and give it to him. This means we are lucky if he can get one or two breaths from it. We have tried to put him more at ease with it, by pretending to take it ourselves or pretending to give it to his teddies but it doesn’t seem to make any difference, he will still get really upset.
Can anyone give me any advice on how to help him be more comfortable with taking it? If any one has had any similar situations with their children and any solutions they found that worked.
Any advice anyone could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
