They have to decide that for themselves, and everyone has told me that. Its true. Recently he came to me and said he was ready, so we're both trying to quit now. Its been 4 days and weve had one here and there. Which is fine, cuz we were so bad before, like 2 pks a day each. We are determined to beat this habit. Just leave him alone, you might want to say something here and there, but dont nag him, itll only cause a fight. Believe me I know, I tried telling my man several times, and we only had a really bad fight come out of it. He has to figure it out on his own. It has to be HIM that decides. But if he decides to try ...tell him to see a doctor and get some Wellbutrin. It's an antidepressant found to work on the nicotine urge favorably. It's takes away the urge for a cigarette but does not take away the habit. He'll have to replace the habit with another habit...like walking 20 mins a day of something else positive. You can’t.
