How can I tell if I still have asthma? on the peak flow I always reach the maximum measurement?

Im considering joining the Army, and I need to be free of Asthma for 4 years before joining.

    Its more difficult to undo a diagnosis of asthma. Peak flow is certainly not a definitive test. FEV1 which can only be measured by spirometry is also useful. In addition an exercise test may be helpful. In a non asthmatic PF rises and FEV1 remains static. In an asthmatic both may fall.
