I know exactly how you feel, I was in a very similar situation. I remember that I was so nervous at that time and I took it out on everyone around me. I didnt know what could I do until, thanks god, I found Smoke Deter. Now I can look back and laugh on myself and in the same time I remember how helpless I was. I hope that I'll never be in the same situation again

Any age. To restrict the age would mean the official policy is to keep you smoking for a few years!

I would think you could be any age…

Well what is the age your allowed to smoke at over there? If it’s 18 , it may very well be 18 to join the group too. I just recently quit.. 3 weeks ago actually. You just have to go cold turkey.. I know it doesn’t work for everyone. But surprisingly I was actually ready to quit this time and it was much easier :) Goodluck to you! I know it can be tough at times.

I doubt it. These groups are there to help people. They would be complete hypocrits do deny help based on age. They have to identify and accept that kids smoke at young ages and have as much right to help with quitting than anyone.

You have to be 16 to buy cigs, and your 17, so you should be able to seek help.

If you are being denied help, then go to your local citizens advice bureua and ask their help. They’ll sort them out!

Short of that, visit your doctor, explian you want to quit smoking and he/she will help you.

You should consult your parents if you are still a minor,if you are an adult then its just a matter of motivation, setting fire to and burning a steady stream of five pound notes is just silly, there are other things you can do with that money that are far more enjoyable.Quitting anything is just a matter of attitude and motivation,if you don,t need to do something that makes you smell unpleasant and harms you,why continue ? I stopped years ago because i disagreed with all the price increases,it was no longer worth it.Even beer is about 16 pounds a gallon now,its cheaper to drink petrol, and beer is just colloured water now, take Newcastle Brown for instance, its nothing like as strong as the old BROON.Cost cutting in cigarrettes is just the same, less tobacco bigger filter tips, thinner fags, contracted transport ,the list of cost cutting goes on and is always reflected in the quantity and quallity of the finished product, its known as >>>>LESS FOR MORE.

There are support groups for quitting smoking available to any age.

http://stopsmoking.eu.pn/ is a new approach on quitting, designed for everyone who seriously wants to stop smoking, and it’s completely free; there’s no need to buy anything, nor register; no fees, no medications, no gums nor patches, nothing. Just read and do what the sites suggest.

"It doesn’t matter if you are a five a day teenager, or a one hundred a day pensioner, male or female, or if this is your first or fiftieth attempt at stopping"

You can try it before joining any group.
