help me to stop smoking! stop smoking medications, stop smoking help, stop smoking plans and more
He just started smoking several years ago and won’t stop. There are so many horrible problems smoking causes. Plus, my mother and I are in the house and being exposed to second hand smoke.
How do i get my dad to quit?

and it has never been proven that smoking "causes" anything let alone every disease and condition known to mankind. True, it makes lots of diseases and conditions worse.
it is only hypothesized that 2nd hand smoking causes anything either.

put gun powder in the cigarretts. jk. try getting him to take a program or give him nicoten gum.
maybe buy him some nicolette pads or just talk to him and tell him the smoking is affecting you and
your mom and your concered about his health and the horrible problems they cause.
i have the same problem with my parents.i talk to them about it but they say it helps them with their stress.it’s dumb.they won’t listen…so I’ve tried hiding their cigarettes:p

I think you should talk to him. Explain to him all the problems smoking causes. Also tell him how much it hurts for you and your mom to see him destroying his life and also destroying yours and not being able to stop it. Tell him that smoking can kill him and if he dies you die too, so if he loves you he should quit smoking for not causing any problems to you or your mom.
Remeber: Smoking is not a game that you can stop playing any time you want; it’s somethin that in some cases need medical atention.
