help me to stop smoking! stop smoking medications, stop smoking help, stop smoking plans and more
My mom and step-dad have smoked FOREVER. They have quit twice and eventually go back to it. I want them to quit for good. They spend at least per pack of cigarettes and they get at least three at the store. I know they can use the money for more useful things. I don’t think they understand how harmful smoking is to them. Is there anyway I can get them to stop for good?

I know exactly how you feel, I was in a very similar situation. I remember that I was so nervous at that time and I took it out on everyone around me. I didnt know what could I do until, thanks god, I found Smoke Deter. Now I can look back and laugh on myself and in the same time I remember how helpless I was. I hope that I'll never be in the same situation again

You could try telling them how much it hurts you (emotionally) that they’re smoking. Oh, and to the other answerer, they do it because it relaxes your muscles. Problem being that it’s a dangerous drug.
Go straight up to them and tell them.
Say you love them and want them to live long lives.
Say you don’t want second hand smoke.
Say that they are wasting money that could be donated or put toward your university fund…whatever.
Be clear with them and offer to help out.
If this doesn’t work, I don’t know what will…
Good Luck, let us know if it works out.
You have to quit, just cold turkey. It is hard work and don’t be surprised if you become depressed. I smoked for 14 years and quit going on three years ago. There are still days that I crave cigarettes, but the smell like crap and I know they are going to taste twice as bad.
There is site that I found that could provide you some insights into the Art of quitting smoking. Check it out!

Good Luck!!!
same with my dad, i have bronchitis and been getting it 1-2 times a year, doctor said it could be because of his smoking i told him that hes been mad at me since then. i dont understand how people can smoke, what kind of enjoyment do they get from it, what dont they understand how harmful it can be. and parents with children who are sick (me for example) dont give a crap. i know what your going through i wish i could help, but at least you know what smoking will do, and at least you will never smoke!
It’s hard to get anybody to stop smoking if they don’t actually want to quit, unfortunately. There are a few ways you can encourage them, though; keep hammering on the bad effects smoking has on the body, and that there are literally hundreds if not thousands of carcinogenic cancer-causing chemicals in them. Moreover, there are alternatives to smoking in this era which can completely replace the habit. Electronic cigarettes and the patch are two items that can be used to help quit smoking, because they supply the nicotine craving but remove the rest of the traditional cigarette. Of course, there are quite a few other choices as well – hypnosis, gradual reduction, and low level laser therapy are just a few to name off immediately. Have them take a look at this site, which lists and details at least 8 methods: http://smokefreeme.info/ Best regards,

Sorry to say but … you can’t
