I know exactly how you feel, I was in a very similar situation. I remember that I was so nervous at that time and I took it out on everyone around me. I didnt know what could I do until, thanks god, I found Smoke Deter. Now I can look back and laugh on myself and in the same time I remember how helpless I was. I hope that I'll never be in the same situation again

I agree with most of the answers clean everything like curtains and paint the walls. You may have to steam clean carpet and furniture too. If you do it yourself call the local janitor supply store they have products that will clean and take away the smoke smell.
Fabreeze is a great product I use it all the time. Also dryer sheets. I bought furniture one time at a garage sale it smelled like smoke I put dryer sheets (downy) into the drawers did it many times and the smoke smell did go away. My husband is a nurse works ICU floor and they hang dryer sheets in the hospital rooms.
Activated charcoal and lots of airing out…Congrats on the quiting!
Febreeze!!! Not the air freshner but the Original one
Fabrize on everything you can’t send out for dry cleaning.
Take down all your curtains and wash them and have your carpets and upholstery steam cleaned. If you don’t want to go through the hassle of painting everything just take a sponge mop and wash your ceilings and walls. I am happy you quit smoking. I did for three years and started back up now I am kicking my self in the butt for starting back up. When I did quit I hated the smell of smoke I could smell it much more easily on people and my surroundings. Thats whats happening to you your nose is extra sensitive.
I quit too (Chantix..awesome stuff! four months without a cigarette) and had the same problem. Febreeze works as does a good old fashinoned washing of the curtains and a shampooing of the carpets. And if you’re really feeling industrious, start painting. (Besides, you’d be surprised how much nicotine accumulates on the walls and ceilings.)
use bakingsoda on any carpets sprinkle on then vacume up . also try washing all linins twice with arm and hamer detergent dry with bounce dryer sheets try steam cleaning walls and ceilings
also check out the real simple cleaning book it’s a huge help with it
There are so many new products that you spray in the room that counteract the smells. And put backing soda and charcoal items for closets around the house. And i use the new pellet cat litter that removes cat smells. I put them in containers around the rooms. They absorb some of the smells! i had a dead animal that was burnt in my furnace and came in threw the ducts! Another thing i did was wash the walls down with diluted white vinegar! Good LUCK and CONGRATS!!!!
