As my cat has had all the drugs and injections and nothing is working an inhaler is the last resort.
I mean the inhalers for cats from the vets.

Do you mean the Aerocat? A friend of mine has a cat with asthma that hasn’t responded to anything else, and he’s using that very successfully. Of course, you need a pretty laid-back cat for it to work as well. They are very pleased with his progress with it.
DONT. if they consume ventolin, they get hives and hives can get infections into the blood stream with cats. as i said before, DONT
Ventolin is NOT FDA approved for animal use and there’s a good reason for that. DON’T DO IT.
Update – oh, fair enough then. I thought you meant a human inhaler. Sorry, it’s just that we do get some really really stupid questions here.
Anyway, in light of that, yes I would totally try it if the other stuff isn’t working.

You can buy cat inhalers. They’re supposed to be quite effective.
do it if it will work then it would be a good thing for the cat. get one from the vets. i dunno if it will work, it probably would.

Yes try it if nothing else has worked for your cat. Hopefully it will make his asthma better it’s horrid for cats to have.
I’ve used them and they appear to work. They’re not too hard to use, you get special cat adapters from the vet and they’ll show you how to work them. Most cats appear to tolerate them well so it’s worth a try and see how it goes.
