I’m finding it really hard to stop smoking ?

help me to stop smoking! stop smoking medications, stop smoking help, stop smoking plans and more

I gave up a couple of weeks ago I was doing really well until last night where I had four, nearly one after the other.
Afterwards I had a splitting headache and felt so sick.
I hate smoking, my partner smokes so it’s really hard too, I just want to stop completely because I hate it, I want healthy lungs and not to have fag smelling hair!
Any suggestions?

I know exactly how you feel, I was in a very similar situation. I remember that I was so nervous at that time and I took it out on everyone around me. I didnt know what could I do until, thanks god, I found Smoke Deter. Now I can look back and laugh on myself and in the same time I remember how helpless I was. I hope that I'll never be in the same situation again

It’s hard. I stopped 2 years ago, but the cravings are still very real and it would be so very easy to relapse. I’ determined not to start again, though, which requires a lot of will power. Being positive helps, I like to think of my free-smoke lungs and the smell of tobacco which no longer pollute the house. I also bribe myself, I save the money I would otherwise spend on cigarettes and when I have enough I treat myself to something really nice. It works. All in all I much prefer life without cigarettes even though I’d still love to have a few. Be brave and make the effort, you’ll win in the end. Good luck. :]

Well if you have to smoke may as well enjoy it and remember we are all going to die – If you really want to stop go see your doctor they have pills that help and all sorts of things to help you stop.

If you live in Great Britain, the NHS should be able to provide you with free help and advice, including nicotine replacement products, group therapy and counselling if you need it. It might also be an idea to try and persuade your partner from smoking.

A lot of people find that it is the habit of smoking that is hard to stop, so try and avoid situations where you may be smoking (easier these days due to the smoking ban, but say you are out socialising with friends, it may be difficult in the nice weather not to go outside and have a cigarette. So in your free time, go places where you definitely CAN’T smoke, such as the cinema, for example.

Find something else to do with your hands, such as an inhalator, or playing cards when you’re at home (my mum did this). Above all, good luck. :)

Quitting smoking can be one of the hardest things you will do, but stick at it and you will succeed. Looking at support groups and forums online can be a big help.
I’m doing a blog with help and advice on quitting, it’s relatively new but I’m updating it almost daily check it out

Switch to the electronic cigarette. I don’t know if you’ve heard of them because a lot of people haven’t. It looks like a cigarette, tastes like a cigarette, smokes like a cigarette but the smoke is a water vapor mist. There’s no secondhand smoke. No fire hazard.

You get the nicotine your body craves without all the harmful additives found in cigarette tobacco. Check out the site below for more info.
