I know exactly how you feel, I was in a very similar situation. I remember that I was so nervous at that time and I took it out on everyone around me. I didnt know what could I do until, thanks god, I found Smoke Deter. Now I can look back and laugh on myself and in the same time I remember how helpless I was. I hope that I'll never be in the same situation again

    Try these

    http://www.smartsmoker.co.uk

electronic cigarettes, they are cheaper then normal cigs and you can have a low nicotine or even a nil nicotine. this way you get the habbit without the damage or the smell.

    don’t smoke!!!! u’ll have a crack baby!

i also got some bad news. u may not get over the craving for up to 4 years. it’s totally worth it though. either ur baby suffers and dies or u tough out the disgusting stress cuz u don’t have cigarettes.

    DO
    NOT
    SMOKE

Chew the gum or something, anything but smoke.

Why smoke? I think you should not smoke at all because its bad for you and the baby both. I know its hard quitting. never gone through it though. but still, dont smoke its not worth your money.good luck!

  7. trouble_sum81 says:

Well that is the age old question. Listen: smoke if you must. I smoked with both my children. I am not proud of it but truth be told they were just fine. And no they were not underweight either. 8 and 9 pounds.

Well which do you think is worse, being stressed during pregnancy or smoking during pregnancy?

  9. La La La La Zoom says:

Omg! Loser! Why? Why would you even consider doing that to your baby!!!!??? You may not care about your own life, but have enough dignity to give your child a healthy start!

Whatever you do don’t smoke when your pregnant! If you’re stressed and depressed you should do or watch something every now and then that makes you happy. If you can take some anti depression pills and some pills to help you when your stressed out.

  11. Ryoga316 says:

You should never smoke when you are pregnant as the harmful effects of smoking is very toxic to the baby. This is due to the fact that the baby’s immune system has not yet been developed. Even Second-hand smoke is dangerous to the baby and any form of exposure could leave the baby to serious health conditions, if not death.

If you are craving badly for smoke, you may try taking Nicotine patches or candy as alternatives. It’s best to discuss this with your doctor first before attempting to take any nicotine alternatives.

No!! Its these type of excuses that make you fall down! Think of your child not just your personal feelings…. Smoking sucks. Its not for some one whose is going to be a mom. Besides, the stress is not bad enough yet to effect you. Just stop thinking about and put something else in your life instead of smoking… To make you happy! =] Good Luck.

  13. answering says:

Just think of the big favor your doing to your baby… try Chantix and nicotene replacement.. Hey this is a great incentive to quit! just think of the amount of money you save and clean breath and the ability to taste foods.. also know that you passed the worst part which is the first couple of days…. Also, gum and HALLS help a lot in curbing the cravings… drink a lot of water.. brush your teeth a couple of times a day… think about the future of your beautiful baby and the time she will call you "MAMA" :) good luck and keep it up, it will get easier as time passes

you may still be going through withdrawals…it takes a while and the craving never really goes away. but you have to be strong for you and your baby. starting up again, even if its only a few a day will add to your stress.

  16. Ms. Nicole says:

You dont need to smoke at all while pregnant. Do you know everytime you take a puff of a cig it send your baby, " Fetus" into confulsions? I had no problem quiting. Its all in your head. get a grip.

  17. Natalie D says:

It’s a mental thing. I know its easier said than done but, just remind yourself daily that you don’t need one, and why. Also, try and keep yourself busy, just because you’re pregnant does not mean you have to sit around until you pop. And you should definitely cut down on the smoking. If you can quit cold turkey you should be able to do without, especially with a baby on the way. But if you absolutely have to smoke, do not, i repeat, do not do it around your child.

  18. Fatumata K says:

Yeah you shouldn’t smoke if your preg.
just think of your child’s future, this should give you a lot of encouragement

  19. MCM Lexi says:

    Do not smoke.
Go to the doctor and explain what you’re going through. He/she can give you healthy suggestions on how to cope with your stress and depression. It’s true that you shouldn’t have to go through so much stress, but starting to smoke again is not the answer. See a medical professional!

  20. sunsurfcara says:

just keep in mind… everything you do to yourself, you do to your baby.

    & you’re probably over 18, correct?

well your baby is less than nine months old FROM CONCEPTION, which means that if smokings hurting you badly, imagine what the nicotine is doing to your unborn baby.

smoking during pregnancy creates a higher risk of alcoholism, drug addictions, asthma, and certain types of cancers.

so, would you really want to do this to your child?

  21. heather o says:

Congrats on quitting! It’s tough for sure, but dont give in for your baby’s sake. Everytime you smoke you cut off the oxygen suppply to your baby among other harmful things. Contact the American Cancer Society in your area and they should have some helpful info on things you can do to get over the urges and help you stay smoke free and happy. Good luck it’ll be worth it.

  22. Lydia says:

You don’t smoke ANY. You are growing a baby inside you, and this is not the time for you to be selfish. You handle your craving any other way – eat some chocolate, get busy with your hands doing needlework or eat popsicles, or whatever it takes.
Stress is relative, mom, and you should want to have the healthiest baby possible. No more cancer sticks!

  23. Lakeview22 says:

first off, smoke a cigarette! sounds bad i know but if your stressed it can affect the baby too. Second, consider nicotine gum its still not as good as stopping all together but it will help ! trust me i finally talked to my doctor at 14 weeks about quitting and she suggested the gum it was a godsend..allows you to have a small dose of nictone without the carbon monoxide and other harmful chemicals and the gets you through the cravings!! try it! it will make your transition to stop smoking so much easier and helps you to breath easier that your baby is not getting all those un needed chemicals!

  24. casper_cat76 says:

Stress is bad, but smoking is worse. You have already quit. I suggest you try another method of releasing stress, try some excersize, or I use meditation, it can be very helpful and help you sleep if you have issues with that also. you can try and class for Yoga for preg women, there are massages for preg women that are supposed to be very helpful.
    Good luck.
