It hurts to breathe while exercising and I have to spit a lot. Could I have asthma or something?

I Can’t Breathe Well, What’s Wrong? When I exercise, even just running on the treadmill, it hurts to breathe. I have to breathe very deeply and long. I feel like I have to spit every other second because I can’t breathe well. My legs nor body gets tired, just my breathing doesn’t seam right. Could I have asthma or could something else be wrong?

I know exactly how you feel, I was in a very similar situation. I remember that I was so nervous at that time and I took it out on everyone around me. I didnt know what could I do until, thanks god, I found Smoke Deter. Now I can look back and laugh on myself and in the same time I remember how helpless I was. I hope that I'll never be in the same situation again

Well I’m not a Dr, but I’ve had asthma all my life and I’ve never needed to spit! When I exercise I CAN’T breathe deep or long, my breathing just stops. It may be something temporary like a chest infection or maybe a sinus problem/cold. When you have a build up of mucus you get bunged up and may need to cough up/spit phlegm, and it may hurt your chest. If you’re worried, visit your Dr and ask. They’ll listen to your chest and have you take a peak-flow (blowing into a tube that measures the strength of your exhalation) and let you know if it’s likely to be asthma. Asthma is mostly very easily managed these days, so don’t stress.

yeah it is probably asthma. go see your doctor and get an inhaler to use each time before exercise.

If you feel like your lungs have had elastic bands wrapped around them then yes, you probably have a type of asthma. I recommend a visit to the doctor – if it is only asthma you can get simple help but it may be something more serious and you should get checked out.

This doesn’t necessarily mean you have any respiratory conditions at all although you should get yourself checked out by a doctor. You need to take into consideration things like, do you smoke and are you fit. If you have only just recently started exercising then the most likely cause is that you are unfit. Weight may also factor although this isn’t the only reason. This exact same thing happens to me because I’m in the same condition. If tests come back from the docs that you don’t have any conditions then continue with your exercise regime and you will notice a marked improvement with your breathing as you get fitter.

I have asthma and when I have an attack or problem i bring up alot of flem.
Do you cough, wheeze or have a TIGHT chest?
If so you need an inhaler.
