help me to stop smoking! stop smoking medications, stop smoking help, stop smoking plans and more
I keep on feeling light headed, and as if my heart is racing and because of that i feel short of breath. My school nurse said i may have asthma because my brother and mum have but im 16 and have never had asthma symptoms before. I’ve had the symptoms for the last two years but there were huge gaps in between them but now i cant go 2 or 3 weeks without getting them. Any advice?

I know exactly how you feel, I was in a very similar situation. I remember that I was so nervous at that time and I took it out on everyone around me. I didnt know what could I do until, thanks god, I found Smoke Deter. Now I can look back and laugh on myself and in the same time I remember how helpless I was. I hope that I'll never be in the same situation again

it doesn’t sound like asthma to me at all, you have all the symptoms of low blood sugar. i have it and you described my symptoms when my sugars low. see a doctor he can make sure with a blood test. good luck!
dont rely on your school nurse for a diagnosis
go to your doctor, tell him what the nurse has said
and ask to get your peak flow checked
Your doctor is the best person to give you a diagnosis
Yes. Go to your doctor who will be able to give you an even more expert point of view.
anything is possible, but these are also typical symptoms of an anxiety attack. a nurse is not qualified to diagnose you with anything. only a doctor can run the appropriate tests to find the exact cause of this problem.
The DR can do test to diagnose for sure.
second and third opinions are alway great to hear.
if you have short breath you don’t have it,but if you have NO breath, then it is asthma.i would suggest to go to the doctor and see if he will let you use an inhaler.
your school nurse of course isn’t liable to give a diagnosis like that so tell your mom to take you to a physician who KNOWS what they’re talking about. I have asthma as well but mines from years of smoking, (20 started at 11). More than likely they’ll give you Albuterol a fast acting inhaler and or Adavair or some new kind of medicine. once you have it in control you’ll be alright. Don’t panic yourself over it man or it’ll make it worse believe me
You need to see a doctor to get an opinion which is correct
asthma can attack anyone at any age at anytime, and your school nurse is qualified, so chances are you do have asthma, it’a not that bad all you have to do is carry around an inhaler, just make sure you do cos i had an asthma attack on the bus once and i didnt have my inhaler and it was a really bad attack if the kid up the front didnt have an inhaler i could have died….your family doctor should be able to help you out too, he could diagnose what you have properly good luck!
plz help with mine
