Stop Smoking Help?

help me to stop smoking! stop smoking medications, stop smoking help, stop smoking plans and more

I have smoked for 12 yrs and now smoke a pack day sometimes a pack and a half when I’m stressed out. I do not have insurance and can not afford the doctors visit plus the presciption for Chantix that I’ve know helped alot of people stop. Does anyone have any ideas to help calm my nerves and stop smoking? Thanks.

I know exactly how you feel, I was in a very similar situation. I remember that I was so nervous at that time and I took it out on everyone around me. I didnt know what could I do until, thanks god, I found Smoke Deter. Now I can look back and laugh on myself and in the same time I remember how helpless I was. I hope that I'll never be in the same situation again

chewing gum works well.. also filling your mouth with something other than a cough lolly can work like a lolly pop? hypnosis is another good option and won’t cost too much i would think. Just remember if you keep doing it YOU’RE GOING TO DIE!!!!! ok so smile and spend that money on something more worth while.. like alcohol :) you’re social friend ….

the people I know who quit for good stopped cold turkey. and they chewed gum, sucked on sugar free hard candy, anything that replaced cigarettes as a new oral fixation. one friend of mine kept a carrot stick in her hand at all times. soothing music and scented candles may also help. good luck,it is well worth the effort to rid yourself of these harmful toxins!

I’m glad you want to stop smoking!
It can really do bad damage to your health.. (lung cancer!)
Well.. if you drink then you should quit that too because it can it often triggers your smoking habits. If that makes sense..
Also, gambling triggers your smoking habits.
Example: if you get a beer, you’ll want a smoke.
if you get a smoke you’ll want a beer.
    Psychologically people group those together!
    Good Luck:)

You are already half way there in kicking the habit because you obviously want to.
Gum (yuck even though I hate it) is good, just keep busy
    Best of luck to you
