help me to stop smoking! stop smoking medications, stop smoking help, stop smoking plans and more
Ok I am 24 years old I started smoking weed at 10 and cigs at 12 about 2 packs a day. My father and his family has been smoking cigs around me since I came into this world so no one really ever caught on till I was about 20 when I started smoking in front of them. I have my marijuana license for anxiety (I was in a very abusive relationship for 4 years and was raped last year and I have Bi-Polarizm other medications have not been able to help me function as well as marijuana has). I have no plans in stopping that so please no lectures. However I want to be done with smoking cigs for good. I stopped about 2 years ago for 6 months when I got a horrible lung infection without any cravings or anything. I started again actually be shear accident. A friend of mine (who I actually got started smoking) came to visit me from my hometown we were in the car on our way to a bar and just handed me a cig and not thinking I smoked it. It was completely by accident we just were having a good time and got back into old habits. So i smoked another one and another and well you get the picture. I know it was stupid but really I thought that it didn’t matter at first. I have gone days and a few times weeks without smoking (no money does that to you) no cravings no agitation. I just don’t think and buy a pack when I had money go without when I don’t. Now I just got back from the doctor and he told me my lungs are of a 80 year old and my heart has been affected by smoking (I had no clue that smoking causes heart problems I thought it just screwed with your lungs). I have asthma and with family history of cancer, heart problems, and emphysema (i hope i spelled that correct) on both sides I want to be done with them for good. I really do enjoy smoking. My favorite thing to do is kick it with my friends in my garage smoking and talking and just relaxing. It is just a very mellow thing for us to do. I know this sounds stupid but I am not sure what to do if I don’t smoke. I actually get lost if I drive without cigs (I measure everything by how many cigs it takes to get to places). I am not like most smokers I can go to the movies without having to step outside for one, when I am around non smokers I usually go without (unless I am around to many people then it is my security "blanket"). I don’t want to takes any patches or drugs cause all they do is help with the cravings. I don’t get cravings, it is just the action of smoking I need to quit. Does anyone have any ideas on what i can "replace" smoking with. I am on day 2 of no smoking and really am doing good but I was good before and without thinking I bought a pack. I don’t need lectures or people saying just don’t buy them because everyone in my house smokes and I feel left out now. I truly don’t want to smoke anymore so please help if you can. Thank you

I know exactly how you feel, I was in a very similar situation. I remember that I was so nervous at that time and I took it out on everyone around me. I didnt know what could I do until, thanks god, I found Smoke Deter. Now I can look back and laugh on myself and in the same time I remember how helpless I was. I hope that I'll never be in the same situation again

It is obvious. You smoke or are coerced to smoke when you are around your friends. So either hang out with your friends less or work on making new friends that can better influence you. The need to fit in is intense.
Hi tried every think then in the end got hypnosis-ed this their web site http://www.ph-hypnosis.com/ and have not smoke or thought about it.
Not to get into the weed end of it, but if you’ve noticed, even the marijuana leaves heavy deposits of tar and nicotine behind, just as cigarettes do. If you think that quitting the cigarettes and not the weed will make all the difference in the world, you’re sadly mistaken. These deposits are being deposited in your lungs and are building up.
The relationship between the lungs and the heart is the oxygen that the heart takes in from the lungs and the toxins that the lungs take in are shared with the heart through the blood.
You need to make a decision. If you’re worried about your health (and you have every reason to be), you need to make a serious lifestyle change, which includes eliminating all forms of smoke.
The choice is yours. If a lifestyle change is too much to ask, then whatever happens, happens.
