I quit smoking after 10 years. It’s been two weeks and I am nauseous all the time. I get car sick when I am driving and if i even get in a car or bus that someone else is driving I feel like vomiting. Any idea how long this lasts or if there is something I can do to fix it?
Thanks!
Been smoking for 10 years, but my GF means more to me than cigarettes. I am definitely going to need some kind of stop smoking aid to help get me thru it.
I’ve been smoking for over 10 years, and i’ve quit many times. I have gone as long as a year without a ciggarette in one of my attempts. The combination of stress, and being in the same vicinity (around others) who smoke, is what has made me in the past take back up the filthy habit.
Any suggestions for permanently quitting?
Has anyone used and had succesfull results with stop smoking aids like the patch or the gum? I have been smoking for 10 years but have recently cut back and am considering stoping so any advice would be great!
To clarify, I am a 35 year old male who smoked for 15 years – I smoked between 6-8 filtered cigarettes a day for 5 years and then stopped smoking cigarettes and switched to smoking 2 fairly slim cigars a day for the remaining 10 years.
I do exercise regularly – I walk 2 miles a day.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section- think of it as *preventing* respiratory disease!
