My boyfriend has been smoking for almost 3 years now. He probably smokes 2 packs a week.
How can I help him to quit? I want to be supportive and encourage him to do so. I know he gets frustrated and wants to quit but he never seems to do it or take any steps in the right direction. I don’t think he knows where to start.
I’ve been smoking for almost 3 years, and whenever I go without a cigarette I go crazy from withdrawals. This is why I don’t think I could do it without an aid. What is the best one I can buy without a prescription?
me and my boyfriend made a deal, that we were going to quit smoking.
his part is working, and he’s cut back to one cig a day.
and i want to quit so bad, but it’s hard.

She will be 3 years old in March.
She goes to asthma clinic once a month and is on 2 different inhalers.
I wondered if anyone has any suggestions on what would be best for her?
Anti allergy pillows?
Laminate floor in her bedroom?
Is there anything special that needs to be done to make life easier for her?
I’ve had asthma my whole life for as long as I can remember, It cleared up for the most part 3 yrs ago when I went from 22stone to 15 stone. I’ve always wanted to join the army but is there any way I can get into any part of the armed forces with asthma? It’s not bad asthma, I’ve never had an attack and it’s only noticeable if I exert myself without taking any Salbutamol or when I wake up in the morning.
Can’t I join the logistics corps or army intelligence?
Ok thanks so far, but is it 3 years without asthma or 3 years without an attack? (I’ve never had an attack and I’m 20) A few months ago I got pretty fit (for me anyway) and I was running 9 minute miles (not sure if thats any good). Shouldn’t they take me if my level of fitness is still very good?
My mother has been a heavy smoker for over 30 years and has emphysema and stopped smoking 3 years ago. A couple days ago she got very ill and lethargic and was turning blue so we rushed her to the hospital and it turns out she has advanced COPD and they have her on a ventilator to breathe. My question is how long can someone live after being diagnosed with COPD? She is 58 years old and i’m so afraid she won’t come home from the hospital.
