help me to stop smoking! stop smoking medications, stop smoking help, stop smoking plans and more

I am in sixth grade, my dad have been smoking in my entire life. He threatening me to stop taking me to school if i keep convincing him to stop smoking. And I have a 2 years old brothers. I love my school and my brother to be healthy. What can i do?

So my brother is 21 and he smokes ciggarettes (or however you spell it) and I really care about him and I want him to stop. What I’ve been doing is throwing away his pack of smokes but he’s gotten really mad, and my parents yell at me whenever I do that (My parents don’t care if he smokes…). What should I do to get him to stop?! Im13 and he’s 21, if it makes a difference to the question. I really care about him and I want him to be around for a long time!

My mom has smoked cigarettes for a very long time, and I cannot convince her to stop. I’ve tried giving her facts and statistics about smoking problems and diseases and how she is endangering me, and whenever I try to talk to her about it she says, "Don’t worry about it." And then if I try to lead on the conversation more, she will yell at me. The only other thing she answered me with is, "It’s too hard to quit." But she has never tried to quit before. I am sick of breathing smoke all the time, I’m sick of not being able to have friends over because they get headaches when they are at my house (many have told me), and I am sick of sitting here watching my mother suck on cancer sticks just wasting her life away, and endangering me and everyone else. She refuses to just smoke outside, and air purifiers are not an option. (They are too expensive) We are also not doing so good financially and she ignores the fact that that’s where all the money goes. Please help me.
Thanks for all the answers already, and I have given her facts and such but she just pushes me away and will not listen to me at all. I have ended up in tears trying to convince her but she cares about her cigarettes more. All I ask is for her to try and she isn’t at all. She didn’t stop when she was pregnant with me or my brother, and she almost lost me because I was born prematurely, but she still didn’t try.

Ok, i had a long talk with my younger brother who lied about quitting on smoking pot, and he finally agreed he would stop since he realized what was different about him. I don’t want him to go back on the pot, and i was just wondering if there was anything i can do for him to occupy himself so he won’t do it anymore. How can i keep him motivated, and etc?

I’m only an 11 year old girl, but I want to help my mom to stop smoking. My dad and 12-year old brother are also trying to help, but does anyone have any suggestions on helping us? She’s kinda cranky since she tryed to quit, but still sneaks a few puffs, any help?

I really want my brother to quit smoking. He promises to quit smoking everytime we tell him to. But he still keeps on smoking especially when he is angry (like some kind getting back on us). I don’t want him to compromise his health because of smoking sooner or later. Please help!

I keep on feeling light headed, and as if my heart is racing and because of that i feel short of breath. My school nurse said i may have asthma because my brother and mum have but im 16 and have never had asthma symptoms before. I’ve had the symptoms for the last two years but there were huge gaps in between them but now i cant go 2 or 3 weeks without getting them. Any advice?

How can I help a child in the 4th grade to stop smoking? I know its true because I saw him and he lives in a "bad neiborhood." his brother goes to school with me and he doesn’t know because I’m the onlyone that his brother can trust to tell. Does anyone know how to stop him?
