help me to stop smoking! stop smoking medications, stop smoking help, stop smoking plans and more

she has stopped for a month but then she started smoking every 2 weeks. but when i went with my dad for a week she got hooked on it. i threw a big fit and she never even cared. im 11 and im not going to live in a house of smokers. why would i hate smoking. i also care about my mom so many people die from smoking. so please help.

alright. so for about.. eh 3 years? shes been smoking. the past few years she just smoked half or 1 pack a day.. i guess that was alright as long as she doesnt get addicted. well, ever since last year, around my birthday late May early June, she started smoking around 2-3 packs a day >< and she has like, 5 packs in her purse. everyday, i tell her how much i love her and i would be nothing if she were gone, and to please stop smoking. she just screamed at me to get out of the room and to stop talking to her.. :\ i`m REALLY getting worried. i love hre so much, i dont want her to die.. what should i do? and PS she doesnt believe in the rehad thing or w/e.. she doesnt listen >.> i`m 13 btw, shes 32
well i can`t tell my dad shit, he`ll scream at me and wouldn`t care soo.. if i steal her cigs she might think that I smoke.. D:

So i’ve smoked for about a year and a half now. On and off. I really don’t know what to do…I tried stopping for a week but i just couldn’t. My dad smoked when he was younger for about 15 years and stopped when i was born. And mum never has properly smoked. Could this be some type of thing passed on? Also the fact im friends with a allot of heavy smokers does not help. Its starting to effect my Health allot and my teeth are starting to turn a little yellow. Can someone please help me out and tell me what to do.. I dont want to go to any special classes or my doctor so dont say that.

Also i smoke about 5 a day or a bit more. Also allot more on the weekends easy threw a 20pack at a party.

My dad used to be a drinker but he quit, then he got layed off so he started smoking. He is 57 so he has been drinking for a long time but started smoking about 5 months ago. He coughs alot and it sounds sick. I dont want him to get cancer and die like my aunt did. He smokes in the car right in front of me and me and my older sister both wish he would stop. Sometimes he smokes some kind of long brown cigarish thing and other time ciggarets. Im tired of smelling his second hand poisen. Of course ill never do drugs i just wish he would stop because he is old and still has a beer belly, plus his hair is white, almost bald? Please help me this is urgent. Im 13 and his baby girl and i dont know what i would do if he died.

I find that if I can smoke a joint every couple days, it helps take the edge of not having cigs. I’m trying to quit with my dad because if he doesn’t quit he’s going to die.

So, basically I have the motivation to quit but my mood is so bad, and if I smoked weed in moderation, I think it would take the edge of everything.

I am very scared, my dad has tried quitting smoking probably ten times. He is 56, and I am just very afraid for his health. I know he wants to quit but he just can’t!

As far as I know, the only thing he has seriously committed himself too is the Nicorette gum. What is out now that is the most effective?

My mom has been smoking since she was 13 and shes 40. She smokes every where and any where. I know its hard for her to quit because she tried more than 4 times and nothing works for her. My grandmother (her mother died) of Alzheimer’s and had really bad cataracts. These have both been linked (somehow, it’s just the tactic I use) to smoking.

I’ve blamed my mother for my asthma and allergies, since I grew up in a smoke filled house. Every time I go to visit my mom, even though she keeps her smoking to her bedroom and bathroom, I still get sick.

My husband and I have recently decided to try to start a family. I don’t want to expose my kid to cigarette smoke. I don’t want to deny access to the child, but I hate the idea of visiting my folks and exposing the child to the smoke.

My dad’s also smoke pipe tobacco. He should be easier to convince to stop than my mom.
