Hi, I am 16 years old.
I’ve been smoking for three years, probably 17 cigarettes a day. If I quit smoking now, can I still die from lung cancer in the future?
(I’m planning on quitting right now because I can’t stand smoking anymore, it sucks)

cell phone companies are saying the same thing about using cell phones, that they cause no harm to your brain. But how would they know when there have really been no long term studies on the topic. There are some experts who say that the radiation coming from your cell phone could do some damage to your brain. I’m really not a conspiracist, but i feel as if the cell phone companies are holding out on us, just like the tobacco companies did. They had done studies that proved that smoking increased your risk of lung cancer, but they withheld that information from the public. It could be that the cell phone companies are doing the same thing.
The question is, isn’t it possible that cell phones cause brain turmors, and the cell phone companies know about it, but are not telling us. That is the question.
My Father died of lung cancer that’s why im scared that it would happen same thing to my hubby. I convince him many times to stop smoking but he won’t listen. He does smoke when im not around with him.
I have been having a stinging feeling in the right lung area, i do smoke about five cigarettes a day and i used to smoke alot of marijuana. I say to myself that nothing could really be wrong if i can withstand a four mile run, and half a mile swim, plus stationary bycyle almost daily. I had a chest xray last year which showed no disease. Would i have this kind of cardiovascular endurance and still have lung cancer or lung disease caused by smoking?
My husband has had copd for 4 years and now has lung cancer and also has traveled to the lymph node, what prognosis will he have with no treatment?
