help me to stop smoking! stop smoking medications, stop smoking help, stop smoking plans and more

About 1-2 months ago my friend and I smoked 2 J’s each and all of a sudden I blanked out. Then I half came back but everything was moving in an S shape and instead of seeing night time it was like it was afternoon and there was a dark clouds. I went to explain what happened to my friend and it the blanking out happen again but this time when I came back I felt like I wasn’t fully in my body, as if my soul was floating above my body, I though I was dead, I was completely convinced that I had died. I freaked and told my friend I had died and I had to go to hospital and I ran back to her house and told her parents that I died and stuff and they got me to calm down and they smoke weed quite often and they said that its a common thing to happen and it happens to most people that try it and Ill be fine. The next day I felt like I was dreaming but everything else was fine.Two weeks later I had some more bud and i blanked out again but this time it was sort of different it just felt like i had fallen to the back of my body and i couldn’t remember the last 2 minutes after that i was fine. I haven’t smoked bud since then but one time i felt funny again it wasn’t like i blanked out but i had the falling back into my body feeling again and i just felt weird like i wasn’t myself. Through out this period of time, Ive had moments where i don’t feel like myself and sometimes see things at the corner of my eye.
Whats wrong with me? How do I fix it? And how risky would it be smoking again soon?

my friends apartment complex most of the girls smoke i would not care but their 7,9,11,and 13. I’ve told them it will kill them but they wont stop. please help, i dont want my friends to die

My boyfriend is 15 and he smokes pot and cigarettes and drinks. He always tells me he wants to and is trying to quit but he ends up smoking or drinking later on that day. He started smoking at the age of 10 when his parents passes away, he knows it’s really bad but he can’t seem to stop. How can I help him and/or motivate him to stop without making him go to rehab or something?

My parents have been smoking for years. I have asthma and I have a 3 year old little brother. My parents try not to smoke around us and used to smoke out of our chimney in the winter. But now we just moved into a new house, and there is no fireplace so they just smoke in the house. They Can’t afford to use those quit smoking programs and buying cigarettes 3 times a day doesn’t help. They are truly amazing people, but smoking isn’t really making a good influence on others esapecially my brother and I. How can I get them to stop smoking?

my parents have been smoking cigarettes long be for my sister and i were born, both of us are healthy and have no problems, i’ve been asking them for years when they will stop and they say they will quit soon but they never do. What should i tell them?? i want them to be able to live to see me marry a man and to see my kids grow up.

Okay, first off, I am 16 1/2 years old. I have been in some trouble in the past 2-5 years .. i smoke cigarettes, weed, and drink alcohol. My parents have accepted that I smoke cigarettes and usually buy them for me, some people dont agree with that, but I have more than half of my friends being over 18, and my parents smoked when they were younger and know how addictive it is. With the whole marijuana thing, weed relaxes me, and takes alot, and i mean alot, of stress away. I have never been caught by the police with weed, and im not saying it couldnt happen, but I am a respectful weed smoker and mostly will smoke a little bit before bed, or in the morning, etc., but I am never high to the point my personality changes. My close friend just got murdered 2 weeks ago, my cousin died in a car crash in June 2009, my grandma died when I was 6, my great grandma died when I was 12, and my grandpa has cancer as of right now is expected to live no more than 3 months. I try and block everything out but Its hard. I believe weed should be legal, and i dont want treatment for weed because I do not feel I have a problem. My parents apparently talked to my therapist about it (I have ADHD & ODD – ODD is oppositional defiancy disorder). My therapist is very highly rated and she told my parents I didnt want to agree to treatment. I guess it would be random urine tests, etc., until I stop or something like that. My therapist told my parents I have 2 options, the easy and the hard. Either I go to her, or she is going to help them to get me in with the court. Apparently the court would test more often and possibly (probably) either have me put into a rehab or a nonpermanent home. I am going to try and work around the whole ordeal all together but I don’t feel as if I am being given ANY rights as an american citizen. I did not harm anybody, yet I may have to be put into a rehab, or taken from my home just because I smoke weed every once in a while?? What are my rights? Also, I have trust problems.. to the fullest, how is my therapist helping AT ALL by attempting to MAKE me go here, and behind my back telling my parents things they can do to basically screw me over. So my brother is 21 and he smokes ciggarettes (or however you spell it) and I really care about him and I want him to stop. What I’ve been doing is throwing away his pack of smokes but he’s gotten really mad, and my parents yell at me whenever I do that (My parents don’t care if he smokes…). What should I do to get him to stop?! Im13 and he’s 21, if it makes a difference to the question. I really care about him and I want him to be around for a long time!

by the way – nobody knows me, thank you to the people who didnt judge me, but i have been through WAY WAY WAY more than death in my life. lol. i watched my cousin overdose on heroine when i was 8 years old. ive been raped. the whole bit. but im not saying my life is hard, NOT ONE TIME did i say my life is hard, people will always have it worse. but that doesnt mean i dont have it bad :/ . and i have alot of problems, but when i smoke weed, i am nicer, and i care more. when i dont smoke weed, i am depressed, and really really anger and dont want to take my medication.
oh and to the CKUNT that said oppositional defiancy order is a joke, bxtch, i didnt diagnose myself. i got diagnosed and forced to go the this therapist. i hope i never see you in my life cause it will not be pretty, no threat intended

Unsociable people get addicted to it real fast. ive been unsociable since the summer of 2007. but i started smoking in july of 2008. and i know im addicted. how can i stop? when i don’t have it im real mean and shit to my parents until they give me a ride to my dealers. (he lives outta town). how can i quit?

I`ve been getting quite worried about my parents for some time now. They smoke about 15-20 cigarettes a day and have been since they were 15 years old. Two of my grandparents have died of cancer, probably because of smoking, some years ago. I really don`t want them to die. So if anyone have any good suggestions so that I can get them to stop, please tell me. They have tried to quit smoking before, but I`m not sure how motivated they acctually were…

Any tips I can have to quit smoking as well. Now I come from a family where my parents are basically up my butt on everything and are very annoying and stressful what should I do when I quit smoking. How do I not let that bother me? Thats the main reason why I smoke.

My cousin just had an asthma attack but it wasn’t a real big one but because he is quite young his parents are worried that it’s going to happen again and they don’t know alot about asthma so what simple things could trigger his asthma again and what should he avoid doing?

He’s 17 years old. He started smoking over the summer to lose weight, and now he’s addicted and can’t stop. He says he wants to stop, and I want to help him. Getting rid of all cigarettes in his house isn’t an option because both his parents smoke. (I’m not sure whether or not they allow him to do it.)
