How to cover up the smell of cigarettes

In general, cigarettes smell. It means, when being smoked, of course. It smell so hard that if you do nothing against it, it just stays on your cloths, furniture, walls, wardrobe etc. the smell stays around you as a cloud and when you speak or get closer to someone else. Even he doesn’t get it consciously, his nose will always get what you’ve just done. As an effect, many people will desire to be distant from you, here the smell is tolerable. If you like this situation than everything is fine. But, if you don’t, here are some tips as for how to cover up the smell of cigarettes.

There are some solutions, all are just a solution to the smell, it will never return your health to the place where it could have been without it. So, just take care of this issue too. I don’t tell you not to smoke, but… there are consequences.

Then, we can discuss this issue of how to cover up the smell of cigarettes from one’s mouth.

First, you can chew. Chewing gum without sugar is also good for your dental and mouth health, but will also eliminate bad smells. Try to choose one that has a strong smell, such as mint, it would do the job. The second things you can get into your mouth are candies. Here also mint is preferred.

Now, to remove the smell you can also drink or eat something that has strong smell. Drinking will usually suit better because smoking is usually done after eating, so the hunger is usually gone, weather by the cigarette or by the food consumed. You can drink sweet beverage such as cola, fanta, orange juice if you prefer.

For me, the easiest thing to use, the most beneficial and handy is mint spray. A small spray you can hold everywhere, in your house, your room, car, or in a bag if you carry one. Just psssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Hope you found it useful. Have a good breath smell!

How to get smoke smell out of car

Being a smoker for years I had that problem with 3 cars. The first was so old and broken I wouldn’t mind smoking, eating, drinking, having intimate relations in it… no matter what or where, as long as it kept riding I just did everything I could with it. (Well, I was youngJ)

The second was a convertible; I got is as a prize for winning a swimming championship. Great car. Of course, being opened to fresh air all the time made it smell quite well.  At that time I swam 9 times a week for 4 hours each time , so being in the water for long hours and then in my  convertible to ride from and to my home  made me usually a little cold and as a result smell almost nothing.

So for me only the third car is my test case. And yes, it got some strong smell when I left it in the airport parking when I got to a 21 days vacation in Italy. Unfortunately I forgot there a sack from the supermarket with cheese inside. The days were sunny in the parking and when we came back, well, we had a cheese stench as old as 21 days in august. Don’t imagine it to yourself. It is really an unforgettable experience. And so we get to it- How to get smoke smell out of car. My car!

I can count several options but let me save you time, work and money. So, the winning solution, after many experiments is one:

Ozium is an air sanitizer. It masks and also really eliminates the smell. It is a common product and you can find it all over, in many auto stores. You’ll find it in an 8 oz aerosol can. Spray the seats, its front and also the headliners, where the stanch holds most. If you won’t like its clinical odor then you better buy scented air freshener spray and use it afterward.

That’s it! Now you really know how to get smoke smell out of car. If you want you can use the traditional methods such as cleaning with water and vinegar but it will take you hell lots of time and work.

Hope you found it useful. Have a good car smell!

I am 20 years old and i have been a pack a day smoker for 6 years

Way I looke at it, If Tobacco companies can put things such a nicotine in cigarettes and hook people, thus making themselves rich, why can’t the government get their hands on some of the nicotine slaves money too! (sarcasm)

Do smokers feel like slaves to the Tobacco industry and to our government now? Here in NC, the average carton of Cigs will go up 6 dollars as of monday morning!

BTW……Im not a smoker!

I’ve seen billboards for a new quit smoking method using lasers. I’m not a smoker, but I want to know how lasers and addition go together.

I gave Up Ciggs in 1998 after being a pack a day smoker for years and now for a 1 year I have been smoking and want to quite. last time i did it cold turkey.
Cold Turkey Is not Working This Time
Stress Levels are Way higher then Last Time By 100%

I am male 55 and smoking since last 35 years, now almost 15 cigarettes a day. Yes i am adicted, no doubt about it …
i am 5′4" with 200 lbs (overweight), have no sugar or blood pressure but have high colestrols and damaged my lungs
What should i do to quit smoking? i tried many a times but failed … only a smoker can understand how difficult it is to quit, so expect some answer from people who already have quit smoking …
I NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE … don’t say ‘just quit’ … it does not work, as i don’t have that strong will power & nicotine is now in my blood

I quit smoking in 1971. Except for a few cigars I haven’t smoked since and my last cigar was in 1977. Have you quit or are you trying to kick the habit? I quit cold turkey without a support group or any kind of medicine or other aid. Once I firmly decided to quit I had no trouble staying quit, but I did backslide several times on the way to successfully quitting. I never doubted I could kick the habit, though it was not easy to quit after years as a smoker.
Between my first serious attempt to quit smoking and my final successful attempt there was a span of six years and probably four or five tries to quit. It was not easy, and the hardest part was being around other people who smoked. In one of those tries I was smoke-free for nearly three years before I backslid into the habit. So I respect anyone who has tried–failed or succeeded–and I fully sympathize with those who have the habit and want to quit.

Great answers, everyone. Thanks for participating. If you’ve quit, congratulations. If you’ve tried and failed, I respect your efforts and wish you the best.

The cost is one factor that helps me stay quit. When I last smoked cigarettes cost about 40 cents a pack.

I lost my grandpa when I was 6 because of Cancer and my grandma smokes as much as he used to. What’s the best way to stop her from smoking? I don’t want her to be known as a smoker.

I am not a smoker, but often come across people who are very "protective" of their choice to smoke. Why do people start smoking in the first place, then after a time, why do they want to quit?

She recently turned 18 and she has been smoking for two years now. She told me that she used to smoke a cigarette or two a month, but then she began to smoke more often. She is not a heavy smoker, but she smokes 1 or 2 cigarettes a day. I keep telling her to quit smoking before it becomes too late. She told me that she wants to stop smoking, but she is becoming addicted to it. Now I’m worried that she will smoke more cigarettes a day and then she will not be able to quit. What can I do to help her stop smoking?

I love being a non smoker I have not had a cig since I got the treatment and its great,My sister says she wants to stop smoking but claims it cost too much (about same amount she spends on 1 month of cigs)
Should I just pay for it for her as a gift?
I dont know how it works but I am proof that it does work since I have not smoked in 4 months

My father has been a smoker for more than 30 years and is going to start taking Champix the stop smoking pill. Anyone take this before? Have any success stories with it? And also how long should u take it for? It comes in a 2 week dosage so after 2 weeks is it supposed to work or should u take it again? Please any helpful tips for champix to be successful would be great!! Thank u so much!

I want to be supportive of my husband while he quits smoking. He’s been a heavy smoker for seven years and he’s ready to quit. He’s been so excited while cutting back, making lists of all of the positive reasons for quitting. Also, he’s got a perscirption for the pills that help him to quit smoking.

Ive only been smoking for two years, and I would like to quit… its very hard to stop this nasty habit, Anyone have any suggestions/methods on how to quite without quitting cold turkey, or using the patch? Its way to expensive for me…
But smoking has become my biggest addiction. Im tired of spending the money on cigarrettes and polluting my body…also what can I do to get my husband to stop smoking or atleast stop smoking around me once I quit because he is hard headed..because I know if he smokes it will be to easy to give in to temptation…
why is everyone so harsh about smoking its not like Im announcing Im a smoker and Im proud that I hurt my body… I know I cant make my husband stop smoking but it would be nice to give me some suggestions on how to talk to him about not smoking around me or something like that. Non smokers get very angry at this type of question, I know what it does to my body and my teeth and thats one of the biggest reasons I want to quit. It just seems rude to judge someone when they are trying to better themselves
I do appreciate the help, I just dont understand why people are using my question to harp at me about smoking when I want to stop, but for those of you who have offered some good advice I do appreciate it thanks

I’m not a heavy smoker, I only smoke about 5 a day, but I still feel the addiction and I want and need to quit completely.

What is the most effective/successful way to quit smoking? I’ve been cutting down little by little. Is that the best way or should I just quit cold turkey and force myself to not smoke through sheer willpower?
I don’t use the patch or gum because I don’t believe in using crutches like that.

I have smoked for 14 years and am trying again to quit cold turkey. This is the hardest thing in my life. Anyone ever quit smoking successfully? How is life now for you as a non smoker? Need advice! Thanks!

We inherited a chair from my husbands grandmother who was a VERY heavy smoker.(About 40 a day for 60 years!) How do I get the smell of stale smoke out of the chair? Please help!
Thanks.

Someone i know does lot of excercise, jogs in the mornings, evenings but is also a smoker, but he is not losing weight, is it true smoking stops you from losing weight? cuz i cant think of any other reason why this mate is not losing weight, he doesnt even eat fattie food, but looks like the excercise is a waste if one smokes, true?

How many times did it take for you to quit if you could do it? If you have not been able to, then why not?
"True" its obvious that you were never a smoker. Thus, your opinion counts for nothing.

I am a heavy smoker. two pack per day. I am in the cooper clayton smoking censation class, but still smoking. I have the patches, but due to anxiety, and stress, I haven’t been able to progress. I did stop smoking the first time I was in this class. Only to start back after 4 months. I feel like such a failure. I feel I am weak, stupid, and letting the others down in my class, low self esteem. I am considering theapy, but wondering if anyone anyplace has any suggestions that might help me kick the habit. My Dr. has told me numerous times I have to quit smoking. I have asathma, broncities and other breathing conditions. Is it the power over smoking that I can’t give up? I am not an ignorant person. I no, the risk here..then why do I keep smoking?
There has to be others out there that smoke, and have sucessfully quite. If anyone has an suggestions, I would like to have your in put. This is scaring me.

When I first started the filfthy habit when i was about 14 and 15 i said i’d stop by the time i was 25. well that b’day has just passed and i had given up for periods of months on end. Now i am just a smoker when i get drunk. Which aint that bad.

However, With the no smoking in public starting next year in England, just wondered how many were stopping smoking beforehand or waiting for the ban or who will carry on regardless.

My granmother wants to smoke and is slowly killing herself which is tearing my mother up. So my mom yells at my gran, who gives in and has cut down the smoking dramatically. My gran is sick with COPD and can barely breathe.

I am a smoker who is trying to quit but when I am around my gran wants to smoke more. So everyone wants me to yell at her not to smoke but I don’t even like yelling. I have tried talking with her as an adult but there is real langauge barriers.

So whats the right choice?

my father has copd, which is the lung disease from being a smoker. I don’t know what this medication is doing to him or for him, would like to know more about it. He also has a heart condition, which was found after the copd. Can you tell me what it is doing for him?

I was wondering not because i’m a smoker but because i was told this by someone who did stop smoking and did put on weight is the change in metabolism the cause of putting on weight or is it merely because you start eating more? Thanks
