I really need and want to quit. I was looking for some success stories and what worked for people who quit smoking. So many choices, RX, the patch, cold turkey…any advice?

My brother did the patch…twice. It worked for him, he was just dumb to start up again so used it to quit again!
My friend recently tried anti-smoking drugs (Zieban or Champix) and it made her really depressed and tired. She ended up stopping the drugs and going cold turkey. She smoked almost a pack a day. It’s been about 2 weeks cold turkey now. Her goal is to start trying to get pregnant in 3 months, so she has a really good reason to quit. Says she breathes better already! Whenever she thinks of smoking, she keeps herself busy. She says her house is cleaner than it has ever been!!!

Without hesitation She Said!…..Do you Know that Your Mouth Smells Like an ASH TRAY??….I Don’t Think I Have ever been Embarrass in my Entire Life as That Moment, She Then Said to me, You know! you are a Very "Proud Comanche" do you Think you Have the Will, if I Dare you to STOP??….{This May Not Help Many People to Stop Smoking} but I Immediately Got Hold of the Packet of "FAGS" sitting on the Night Stand beside me, and Squashed it to Bits with a Smile on My face as I Discarded It. She Broke into Laughter…..That Made me QUIT! Never to Smoke Again.

Ultimately it would depend on you and how youre body reacts to things but the stories should find what youre looking for
I quit in Nov of 2007 cold turkey. I was coughing one night and decided, this is my last cigarette. Woke up the next day and quit. I am not going to say it was a walk in the park because it wasn’t, I was a massive B***h for a week or two but it did pass. You really just have to get over the early stages then you can get a better handle on it. I had smoked a pack a day for 15 years, it was hard but if you set your mind to it you can do it. I never tried playing around with patches or gum.
Try to find something to keep you busy so you don’t want to smoke as much (preferably something healthy lol). I still have a tough time in bars and clubs when everyone is smoking and drinking, I do want one. But other than that I really think they smell horrible now and am glad I don’t do it anymore, I have more money, plus my teeth are much whiter
