I know exactly how you feel, I was in a very similar situation. I remember that I was so nervous at that time and I took it out on everyone around me. I didnt know what could I do until, thanks god, I found Smoke Deter. Now I can look back and laugh on myself and in the same time I remember how helpless I was. I hope that I'll never be in the same situation again

Unfortunately when it comes to quitting smoking it’s your mother’s decision to quit. I’m sure she wants to quit for you and maybe even for herself, but it is extremely hard. She just may not be ready to quit. If she does one method I found that works are Quest cigs. They have no nicotine cigs. She would be able to still smoke while weaning off of nicotine. There are 3 levels, low nicotine, very low and none. By the time she is on the no nictoine ones she is just battling the psychological addiction. I’ve known many people who were able to quit using this method much more successfully than using gum, patches or medication. Talk to your mom. Let her know how you feel and offer your support to help her quit when she is ready.
I have never smoked in my lifetime but I can tell you a couple of the ways that your mother can try to stop smoking.
I was dating this one man that I met several years ago in church when I lived in another state.
When I met him he was a non smoker. But he told me that he had smoked for 20 years and that everyone around him kept telling him to stop smoking including his doctor or he is going to die of lung cancer.
I asked him how did you stop smoking?
He went to this program called (Smokers Anonymous) it is a support group for people who are long term
smokers and they talk about their smoking habits and how to quit. It is a 12 step program that helps you quit smoking. Go to http://www.smokersanonymous.com you can check out their website the site has online
meetings your mom can attend and their chat room is always open.
Or try http://www.nicotineanonymous.com or call their toll free telephone number at 1-877-879-6422.
This website can direct your mom to a closer location where she lives.
I know it isn’t going to be easy for your mom to quit smoking since she’s been smoking since she was 10 years old but (I believe if you have the will there is a way, that is my motto.) Please encourage your mom to try one of these programs I am sure she won’t be dissapointed. Keep telling your mom that she can do it keep telling encouraging her and telling her everyday so she will have confidence in herself.
Best of luck to you and your mom.
