Why is it that nurofen and aspirin aggravate asthma?

Mike_T says:

I know exactly how you feel, I was in a very similar situation. I remember that I was so nervous at that time and I took it out on everyone around me. I didnt know what could I do until, thanks god, I found Smoke Deter. Now I can look back and laugh on myself and in the same time I remember how helpless I was. I hope that I'll never be in the same situation again

firstly asthma is a chronic respiratory condition that causes the airways to be inflammed and create excess mucouse in the alveoli in the bronchial parts of the lungs. this can cause the wheezing on expiration, constriction of the airways. the problem with nurofen (ibuprofen) one of its side effects is bronchospasms which can aggrevate a persons asthma and thus cause an attack.

I have no idea, but whenever i give it to my son, his asthma gets really bad, which is why ive stopped it. However, it is really good for lowering temperatures.

ibuprofen, slightly dilates your blood vessels, so would make asthma worse and would also make high blood presure worse
